Dock / Deck Box UK Availability

I currently live in the UK and my boat is berthed in Benalmadena Spain. It is a Trader Trawler Yacht that we have been preparing to start 'Living the Dream' and set off on our eventual destination of Greece & Turkey in September.
I have been trying to locate a substantial Dock/Deck Box that I can position on the aft deck. However the only outlets that I have been able to find that sell such boxes appear to be in the USA, and those that are prepared to ship to either the UK or Spain are somewhat expensive with shipping costs etc.
Is there anybody on this forum that know's of any outlets in either the UK or Spain that sells such boxes, could you please advise.
Thank you
Ian Streten

How about having a local carpenter in Spain or the UK make one to your specification?

Thank you Astrid for your reply. Yes that is certainly an option that we have considered. Since posting our original request we have had the idea of buying a cheap garden type box to alleviate our immediate need, and have had the idea that perhaps when we get to either Greece or Turkey to get one of the Gulet craftsman to make us one if in the meantime we can't find the box we are looking for.

You might try searching for 'Tool Box' or 'Vehicle Tool Chest'. These are the big ones that get bolted in the back of flatbed transits, or to worklocations. Strong enough to protect the contents from determined thieves ho' not marine rated.

Machine Mart Power Tools and Machinery: Clarke, Dewalt, Makita, Ryobi, Bosch list 'site safes' which I think is what you are looking for.
