Four Winns HD8 Decision?

Hey everyone!! I’m brand new to the forum - forgive me for jumping in immediately seeking purchasing guidance!

My wife and I have decided to take the plunge and get a boat. We live near Destin, Florida and we rent boats constantly. One of the issues in this area is that it is entirely focused on fishing. Cruisers are available, but I’d say in limited quantity.

This being our first boat, we’ve really been eyeing a Four Winns HD8. We’d like to stay in the $100k price range. After looking through the forum, I noticed Four Winns took some heat from experienced members. I’m not married to the Winns by any means, but it seems like a solid choice. Asking price is $108k.

Considering you guys have probably forgotten more about boats than I actually know, am I going in the right direction - or should I be looking at other options? We’d prefer new to used (warranty, financing, condition).
