Great Loop on a SeaRay 480?

Does anyone have experience with doing the Loop on an early 2000’s Sea Ray 480? In particular, passing thru the 15th Bridge on the Erie Canal ?

Re: Great Loop on a SeaRay 480?

Assuming you're talking about a 480 sedan bridge, it looks like the flybridge hardtop is 16'7" above the waterline. Without the hard top, the flybridge visor is at 12'6". So with the hard top, the western Erie isn't an option (15'6" bridge). But you could go up the Oswego canal and through the Welland.

If it's a 480 Sundancer, it should be lower.

Powerboat Guide says the 2002-2005 480 Motor Yacht clearance is 15'0". Doesn't list clearance for the 1998-2004 480 Sedan Bridge.

Manufacturer's clearance generally doesn't include add-on stuff like radars and other antennas, etc.
