Mustang 3800 - Best Additions? What's a Must Add to Make it Perfect?

After many visits to various accessories shops I'm wondering what's your best additions to make your setup perfect in your mind? I'm thinking if a rear fridge and extended shade over the transom...

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Djbrisvegas.

There’s no need to make multiple identical posts.

Equipping a boat largely depends on what you plan to do with it. You need to begin with basic safety equipment. After that, the only constraint is your wallet. If you plan to anchor a lot - get a proper anchor, chain and rode plus a windlass; cruising in fog prone areas - get a radar system along with a chart plotter and depth finder. If you plan to spend time away from shore power - add a generator or inverter.

Djbrisvegas,

Assuming you have all the safety gear and equipment, then here are some of what I or my friends have on our cruisers:

1) Bluetooth module from Fusion installed to the AUX input on the standard sound system. Then anybody can be the DJ
2) Nespresso machine for coffees and hot chocolates
3) SS electric BBQ on rear of transom rail.
4) Additional beverage cooler
5) USB multi charger station in the cabin for charging personal media devices.
6) Extended shade over the transom, but first fit a complete SS railing system so everyone can fish safely from the transom. Have swing gates on each site.
7) LED lights for longer battery life and nicer lighting.
8) Lounging squabs on the front foredeck for the ladies to lounge on
9) Underwater lights on the transom for that great night time effect.
