New User - Looking for referrals

Hi Everyone,

Newbie user here looking for a few referrals. I am under contract for a Carver 504 in Hammond, IN. I am looking for referrals for a pre-sales survey and marine machinic (Cummins Engines). I'm looking to do the survey in the next few weeks and am flexible on dates.

I am also looking for a captain (yes, this is a paid engagement at a reasonable agreed upon rate) who is available to take the boat with me from the current marina to its new home in Chattanooga, TN. I'd prefer someone with experience in this boat or close to it. I will also be looking for this captain to provide education and instruction on this boat. I do have previously experience but as my flight instructor told me on the day I graduated flight school, you now have a license to learn and it never expires!

I'd be leaving as soon after the papers are signed remaining flexible on dates. I'd like to do the trip as quickly as is reasonable and am not planning on any sightseeing stops.

I'm not sure what other info you may need so please write and I'll provide any details required.

Thanks in advance and I am looking forward to a new life on water...

C-S, not to chase you away but honestly you would do well posting on TF.
I would be surprised if you did not get a quick response with 3 surveyors and several captains.
