Re: Steve Jobs New Boat, so Big They Aren't Sure How Big it Actually Is

I'm with minaret and Mark. I like it, clean lines, modern aesthetic, and I'll bet she is wonderful at sea... It's a shame SJ isn't he to take her out on her maiden voyage.

Steve Jobs family (Laurene Powell, Reed, Erin, eve) where there at the shipbuilder Feadship for the christening of Venus

I think once the inside of of “Venusis finished that the yacht will be brought to California so the family can use her.

They had rented captained & crewed power & sailboats many times. His family really enjoyed it.

Benford is absolutely a first rate designer. So, no mocking at all.

"Does my bum look big in this?"

"Ummm .... well, frankly yes"

Steve Jobs could not be accused of sharing that physical defect with his floating mausoleum.

I bet when all the slide outs on the side and stern open it looks pretty sweet at anchor

Yup, that's a massive transom garage. Lots of room for toys in there.

Why couldn't he have opted for something more tasteful, like Zaha Hadid's latest for Vlad Doronin

Slip a coupla hulls under it and call it done!

LOL! It would have to be a hydrofoil. Very Star Wars.

Steve Jobs liked simple lines and that is not it. Think floating white iPhone. Lots of glass and edges
