Two Failed Surveys! Question -

Have had a Trojan 31' and Hat 33' turned down by surveyor.

Will being using the boat for long local cruisng for short periods of time.
Little short jaunts up and down the ICW for a week or two and eventually may move aboard.

My question....

Have been looking at the Nimble Ted Brewer designs, both power and sail versions. Does anybody have any comments, condemnations, or applause for this craft? It seems to fits my needs.

I think you would do best to ask their owners' association because you will get the best information -- both good and bad.

What Nimble version are you looking at? We own hull#1 of the Nomad line. Its a small outboard powered trawler thats 24'-7" long. Don't think it could be a live-aboard but its a fun little boat. We have owned it for about 14 years and love it. Its great for intercoastal and protected waters. Not an offshore boat at all but very unique.
Check out the Yahoo Groups "nimble boats" and look at Sweet Pea in the photos section.

Version 27' or 30'

Sail or power not sure. Seems to be very comforatable! Me live aboard, Maybe! Would like to see if it is for me. This boat seems to fit my initial plan to take short 1 or 2 week cruises and see if I would like the life style.

Who knows what the future is to be in these times. Am going to further investigate this boat and start looking at a few on the market! Quite a few on the market in NC. Will take a drive and have a look see.

Thanks again!
