Weekend getaway recommendations from Port Jeff

Hi All, we are planning to take our first weekend getaway on our speed boat and make an overnight trip. We will be leaving from Port Jeff. Looking not to exceed more than 2hr drive (will be traveling with kids). Somewhere where we can park at marina, walk down town, have dinner and preferable even where there's a pool. Also things to do with kids during the day. Thanks so much in advance!

Northport village. You can tie up overnight for $60 ( I believe) at the village dock. Several restaurants are close by. You can also check with Britannia marina for a guest slip, they have a pool. Restaurant onsite. Third option, guest moorings at Seymour's, they have a launch.
