I know that OCSC in SF has a very good program. As a matter of disclosure I do have a boat with them but I've heard nothing but good about them. I think there are supposed to be good ones in Sidney BC as well.

I just remembered that they some times have a sale on their membership this time of year. Makes the class a better price.

I took three classes with J World Sailing School in San Diego several years ago. My experience with them was very positive. They offer ASA certifications in several skill levels. Go to www.jworldschool.com and you will find links to the San Diego school as well as J World schools at other locations.

Another vote for OCSC.

My wife and I took a 5 day live aboard class from San Diego Sailing Acadamy and were quite happy with their program.
