Where are the self study guide (books) for CG license?

I guess signing up an on-line course would be easier for most people. But are there any online free sites or books one can do it on their own fpr preparing the exams.

Not much in the free realm, but for a few dollars you can get UpgradeU app for iPhone and iPad for $20 one time purchase and it's good for all the licenses. Also, Marine Advancement program has a good review, it's what I have for studying my chief mate unlimited.. It's a USB that plugs into a Windows computer, doesn't need Internet. That runs you just under $100. Might be less for the lower licenses, mine was that much.

Books are the Capt Murphy line of study books and there is another I can't think of..
