i just bought her and found out cutless strut n bearing have to be replace as well as prop. considering putting an outboard motor. any suggestions. thank you/Users/tom/Desktop/IMG_1403.JPG/Users/tom/Desktop/IMG_1569.PNG

Don't think you would be happy with an outboard on that size boat.

I think for 27 and under great. But you get in any wave action on the bow and you'll be sorry that prop coming out of the water and you don't make any headway.

Also the cost of a good outboard high thrust you could haul get a new strut and bearing. While it's out of the water you can do your regular bottom maintenance.

thank you i am now looking for a cutlass strutt that will fit on my Clipper Marine 32 i am hoping that all it needs is the strutt n bearing and a new Propeller thanks again an wish me luck.i Hope my Propeller shaft is ok> 559 916 9014

If your strut and prop were chewed up by galvanic corrosion or D.C. Stray current chances are good you'll need a new shaft as well.
