This is where you are wrong. Our Yanmar 2gm20 fwc lacks any zincs in the head or heat exchanger not even on the seawater side. Also the heat exchanger on several gensets do not have any zincs on the heat exchangers seawater side as well . It lacks the holes, plates etc. The yanmar dealer said many do not have zincs being he is a Florida dealer most of his exp is with fwc motors. I could see a rwc having them. But your comment earlier about "well cars have antifreeze so they dont have zincs" was kind of silly of course theres no need for zincs on the antifreeze coolant side, And again no zincs in the head or heat exchanger on our 2gm20 fwc heat exchanger anywhere the manual shows the locations and on ours its nice smooth undrilled area. And again so your not confused this is on the seawater side.

FWIW, the 2GM20 zincs have a 24mm hex.
