Crystal Prop review or recommendation

I have used prop speed ($500 on amazon for 2 kits to cover my 2 props) for the last few haulouts. I have run across a new to me product available from PYI, inc (same company that sells my Max Prop - Easy) called Crystal Prop. Seems like $125 for an amount that would do both of my 20 inch 3 blade props.
Curious if anyone has tried this product and any feedback?

Re: Crystal Prop review or recommendation

The reviews at PYI at the bottom of this product page are pretty generic.

https://store.pyiinc.com/products/cr...l&_ss=e&_v=1.0

It would be nice to see more reviews of how well it works in the water. "Easy to apply" is pretty useless to me.

Then, read the [cited] 3-part 'Yachting News' review.

I did many months ago. One review is not much to base a purchase decision, IMHO.

Re: Crystal Prop review or recommendation

I wasn't aware of Crystal Prop, only Prop Speed. I'd love to hear from users how it performs. $110 for a kit at Fisheries Supply is not bad, and the kit sounds like it's enough to do an 18" prop 3-4 times. Unfortunately has a shelf life of only 6 months once it's opened, but sharing a kit with a couple other boats at haulout time would make it darn affordable.
