Cutlass Bearing

I have been searching the internet for hours to locate a supplier for a cutlass bearing. The only website I could find was blue water marine who sold me a damaged Michigan Wheel propeller that they shipped to me in Malaysia and then refused to replace it when I brought it to their shop in Fort Lauderdale a few weeks later. So does anyone know of any other company that sells non metalic cutlass bearings to be used in an Aluminum stern tube?

Re: cutlass bearing

Try searching again, but this time Google 'cutless bearing' instead of cutlass. lots of info.

Re: cutlass bearing

Contact KKMI in Richmond California and ask for the store. They are a really good boat yard to deal with. Tell them what you need and they can ship it. I use non-metallic cutless bearings and get mine from them.

Re: cutlass bearing

looks like you have your choice between suppliers, whether you spell it right ( cutless) or not (cutlass).

CUTLASS or CUTLESS BEARING ??? - Yachting and Boating World Forums

Since the OP said he'd searched the internet for hours, and wasn't happy, I thought he'd have more results if he tried the original spelling.
