Double checking before purchasing. Bennett Trim Tab Actuators

Hauling out in November for bottom/running gear paint, new transducer installation and trim tab actuator replacement (one has got a blown seal).

I'm pretty sure are Bennett a1101a (based on the four 'rings' on the actuator) ... but just wanted a second set of eyes before purchasing.

Because the attachment point for the actuator to the transom is below the waterline, I'm also looking for recommendations for the sealant to use on the bolt/screws and to surround the pass through hydraulic lines.

I can't speak to the Bennetts. For the sealant I'd go with 3M 4000 or 3M 4200, but not 3M 5200 if you ever want to get them back apart. 4000 is better in UV light, 4200 adheres better.

Bennet is known for pretty good customer service. You could call them, email the pic, etc.

Bennett recommends “marine grade (waterproof) sealant”. Very helpful.
