Hynautic & RM Autopilot - Dither
Hi All,

Our 1980's vintage Hood 38 has a 1989 vintage Hynautic hydraulic cylander for moving the rudder when on autopilot. Link here http://www.boatsteer.com/assets/Hynautic_1987.pdf

It is paired with a new Raymarine EV400 autopilot. Largely it works very well, but sometimes the steering wheel will flick backwards and forwards. I think this may be called dither.

I have thoguht about bleeding the hydraulics, but does anyone have any other suggestions first?
