I Have a Loose Linkage in the Power Steering

I really dont understand how to tighten the linkage, this black cable runs from the steering wheel to the back of the boat into the same thing that controls the outboard trim????

If you have a black cable that goes from the wheel to the engine...you don't have power steering

The cable connects to the same thing that controls the trim

Any adjustment on a linkage on a cable would have to be at the wheel or the end of the cable. Or, it could be you just need a new cable. Most cable stearing systems I have ever seen have a keeper at either end. Cable may have streached or keepers may have slipped. As far as the trim control for the outboard, I dont see a connection between the two.

The trim control is electro hydraulic.
