I have a 1974 elysian 27 ft cruiser that started leaking around the prop shaft leaving the boat. This only happened after it was out the water for 4 weeks for a paint job. Would anyone know what the cause could be. Thanks for any help.

Re: Leak in stern prop shaft

probably the sika/5200 sealant dried out and shrunk.

remove propshaft,sterntube and reseat.

check also if you have an engine mount sheared or broken
