Rudder Minimum and Maximum Oil Pressure

Rudder minimum and maximum oil pressure

Hello,

My Helm/Rudder oil cylinder internal check vale is starting to lick . Independent of the autopilot check valve and before I buy a new cylinder, I’m thinking in adding two oil check valves in both, the port and strb. high pressure lines after the wheel.

I have found a lot of check valves with a lot of specifications about cracking (min) and maximum pressure. I suppose that the rudder system is from min. 3-5psi cracking and about 2500 to 3500 psi maximum oil pressure, but I like to confirm it.

Changing the question

What is the standard low(cracking) and high rudder oil system pressure. I have found a lot specifications about 3-5psi cracking (min) and from 2500- to 3500 psi maximum pressure. I will like to confirm it.
