Volvo DI 20 Sail Drive

Hi everyone
I am having a problem with transmisssions on our cat. They are filledup to the recommended level with the proper fluid. Once on the way they start leaking through the filler dipstick cap and also the side tubing. Is that a temperature problem? I replaced the O ring on the dipstick and also on on the side tube's cap. I use Dexron II as recomended so I am puzzled.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
JC.

How much is leaking? Sail drives do build up pressure. Are you sure you are at the right levels and not over filled? Volvos saildrives do have a tendency to leak a bit.

Used to be just a little bit,now it is way too much. Do you have to check the fluid level when cold or hot? is there a oil filter on the transmission, this could be the problem because I have never replaced it,it does not say on the manual.

I'm no expert on Volvo sail drives but there are no oil filters on sail drives. Another question, is the oil clear or milky in color?
