My water seal shaft use SAE 20/30 oil , I can't find it, can I use other substitute?

this oil is monotype oil sae 20 or sae 30 used for tractor engines and transmissions
don't test any other type of oil because there is a possibility to make damage to your shaft seal

The manufacture of boat recommend that one( SAE 20/30) So, which one you recommend me?

Ohhh, I got you!!! When they say 20/30 mean 20 or 30 , not 20w 30, right??

hi cranchi again its marine enginner , i changed my broswer and i lost my password so i made new registration to the forum

yes you are right that means sae 20 or sae 30 , they just write it like this for space.this is a common oil and of course not expensive.if the oil that is already inside is black i recommend you to change it.
