X332 propeller

Hi all

Are there any 332 owners on here who could tell me what their current prop configuration is.

I have a 2 blade folding prop with 15" prop diameter/11"pitch which I am told should be the right diameter and pitch but performance under engine is not great.

Had a new rev counter fitted to the 2GM20 / SD20 so i can confirm that it is doing its job correctly , when freshly launched this year she was struggling to get up to 4.5 in flat water with minimal tide. Now with a bit of green stuff on the bum you can imagine how frustrating it is when needed for anything other than putting the boat on a pontoon.

Boat is used more for cruising than racing so 3 blades would be an acceptable upgrade path if i can confirm that is the sort of thing needed

Cheers in advance

Re: X332 propeller

Hi.

I have a Oceanis 311 Clipper with a md2020 engine. 2 blades Variprop but I don't know the sizing.

At 2300 revs the boat goes at 5.5 kts, flat surface no wind, with a clean hull.

I would also expect your boat to go faster.

Best.

Re: X332 propeller

Take a look at this one:
Three blades have less vibration (balance), and better in chop.
