20 & 10 Lb Aluminum Worthington Propane Tanks recert?

I have a couple Aluminum propane tanks that were refused to get refilled due to expiration stamp on tank. I assume this is similar to a scuba tank that needs to get "hydro tested" every X years? Any idea who can do this in the NH/MA area?

Kevin,
Contact one of the local propane suppliers. They may not do, but they probably know someone who does. That's how I found a retailer to re-certify my 10LB aluminum tanks for about $40. I think the retailer just sent the tank to someone else for certification.
You also might try a dive shop. I suspect the shops that certify dive tanks also do propane tanks.

Any major propane supplier will recertify tanks (after 12 years and every 5 years there after) if you have the newer valve. If not it's probably $45 for the new valve plus the recert.
