AC raw water strainer corroding

I’ve been in the same spot for 9 years and never had this issue. My Raw water strainer corroded beyond use in a month. Nothing in the system has changed and in the past 6 months I’ve replaced 3 of the screens.

The plastic body is also brand new, one month old and already yellowed like it’s a decade old.

Any thoughts on this?

The housings on my ancient bronze Grocos are tied into the bonding loop. Had to replace the terminal rings last year as they were the weak point in the system
