Adler Baurber Cold Machine

I just purchased an Adler Barbour Cold Machine a month ago to replace a smaller Isotherm unit that was on my 40 Caliber. This unit works on both air tha water. While the air works fine, I am on my 3rd water pump in 30 days. The marine electricain I am working with is very frustrated and I am looking for answers. The water pump will not keep its prime?????????? We have moved the pump and filter to the lowest part of the bilge.

If you can help me please post.

Re: Adler Baurber Cold Machine

I use a small 12v March pump for my Super Cold Machine. My pumps usually last 6mo to a year.

Bob, are you sure you need the pump at all? I have read a number of posts from others questioning how useful they are... If you have adequate ventilation maybe your best bet is to return the pump for a refund and go with air cooling?
