Re: Airtronic heater issues

I thought that might be the issue, but I also thought that if the flame sensor was failing, the unit would try to restart once after the first shutdown? Ours fires up, runs for a few minutes then shuts down and never tries to restart.

Re: Airtronic heater issues

You could buy the display thermostat on eBay and you'd see the fault codes

Re: Airtronic heater issues

Remove the flame sensor eye & clean the sensor face?

Re: Airtronic heater issues

Does anyone know what the operating temperature of an Airtronic D4 heater is supposed to be? I don't mean outlet air temp, I mean temp of the heat exchanger portion.

We had our fault codes reset and one of the codes was an overheat code. I have an IR thermometer so I can measure the heater temp to see if it's actually overheating or if the combo sensor is faulty. Problem is, Idk what the temp is supposed to be.
