Funny how many believe composting is offensive. I was on a boat that had two heads. We were told the one that had the holding tank could not be used for anything other than to take a pee. The second head was a direct flush, no macerator.
One use and literally plugged.
The captain rigged a screw driver with a extension and another crew had to unplug it. This is not the first time this has happened. Talk about disgusting. If you know you have a head problem, fix it or get a composting toilet.

Well... I have been going to therapy for years and my head problem is not resolved. I guess a composting toilet is the only answer....

Seriously, I am all for a composting toilet. SWMBO is slightly reluctant and we only have one bathroom. If I replace our only toilet with a composting (desiccating) toilet and she is uncomfortable with it the project will be a fail.

When we get some better weather I am going to build an "outhouse" of sorts with a composting toilet and we will have a chance to ease into it and maybe replace the inside toilet after "proof of concept" proves that it is a palatable option.
