Anyone Have Experience with AliExpress Washing Machines?

We've been trying to get our hands on a Daewoo/Winia Mini wall mount washing machine for a couple years now. They seem impossible to find anywhere that will deliver to the US, except one source in Australia that's charging an exorbitant amount.

I've scrolled past all of options on AliExpress that seem to be "inspired" by the Winia too many times, and wondering if I should take a gamble.

Anyone else in the same boat and has made the jump?

I don't have the space to put in a Miele or anything more standard sized. The depth is mainly the problem.

Re: Anyone Have Experience with AliExpress Washing Machines?

Have you tried eBay?

I’ve never ordered anything from Aliexpress, but neither have I’ve heard anything bad about them.

I mentioned eBay because that is how I bought my Daewoo mini. I’m not happy with it. It uses so much water on the dry function it’s not practical to use with a limited water supply.

Good luck!

I've bought a number of things from Ali. It's not my first choice, but for generic products which are made in China anyway, I figure it doesn't matter where I buy them from. Don't expect the kind of customer service or return policy you get from, say, Amazon. Don't expect the precision manufacturing you get from, say, Germany. Expect slow shipping, but generally they beat their delivery date estimate, sometimes by a lot.

If you give up, we've had a good experience with a Haier ventless washer/dryer.

Yes, unfortunately the only one on eBay is that same Australian seller charging a fortune. Plus a need a separate inverter for it for Australian power. Cost will be over $2k for this tiny washer…

If you hate yours and want to find a good home for it let me know =).

I’m a bit nervous about the build quality and it developing leaks.

Last I knew Daewoo stopped producing the 120v version years ago.

Re: Anyone Have Experience with AliExpress Washing Machines?

I bought an LG all in one washer, ventless dryer from home depot about 6 years ago, love it, don't use the dryer much unless we are at a dock. it is an apt size, I don't know if they make a smaller one, it sure is nice to have a washer.

Yeah as far as I know that’s true. If the Australian one was not at a price gouging amount, I’d feel fine about getting that and adding its own inverter.

Don’t buy the combi machines… so many disadvantages.

We settled on a Splendide washing machine, popular in motorhomes.

Re: Anyone Have Experience with AliExpress Washing Machines?

A couple of alternative ways to purchase. There are a number of freight forwarding services, but I don't know if Korea is supported. It may be.

The Philippines are another place to try and find it. The big stores there like Lazada won't ship internationally, but there are some freight forwarders that operate. We bought our microwave from Lazada and had friends stationed there forward it to us.

I did find a link for the Daewoo on Aliexpress. No idea if it is legit, but I've bought things from Aliexpress without issues. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32568...2usa4itemAdapt

Korean Emarket has the unit, but it is currently out of stock https://koreaemarket.com/product/dae...tion220v-only/

When I was looking for microwaves, there were a few other websites that would buy Korean goods and forward. I couldn't find them again in a quick search.

Good luck!

Re: Anyone Have Experience with AliExpress Washing Machines?

I purchased a Daewoo mini washer dryer combo last spring on eBay. It is a 220v version as that is all they make. I just got a 2000 watt power converter, I love it, works awesome.

Re: Anyone Have Experience with AliExpress Washing Machines?

My experience with AliExpress is that they are a rip off company that doesn't ship the right part and keep your money for 6 months, and finally say sorry and return it. Too good to be true is too good to be true.

Nonsense, AliExpress is one of the largest companies in the world. I think your problem is that it is a Chinese company.

I am constantly amazed that the race card is so overused. I don' like AliExpress because of their business practices. I don't care where you are from, treat people like you would like to be treated.
