Sean, or Capt. Sully, I honestly don't know what I'd use to clean with if and when I get a stainless steel tank. I just know that bleach or vinegar will not touch it. Don't know about borax either. But after my own mis-adventure with bleach and SS I now put a pail aside with whatever chemical I am about to use and put whatever material (if possible) said chemical will be used on and see over a period of days any reaction. You would see a reaction with bleach or vinegar on SS in less than 24 hours. Sorry for harping on that, it was a black day for me when I made that mistake..lol...Allan
