Bilge pumps

I have a single bilge pump, 1100 that I will use as the mail pump but I would like to add a larger pump above the level of the original pump, do I need to add another thru hull or can I somehow use 1 thru hull for both? The thru hull for this pump is 1” thank you!!

You'll need another thru hull for the second pump. Depending on what size pump you choose, the new thru hull will likely need to be either 1 1/8" or 1 1/2".
