Bowl Water Disappearing !

We have 2 Jabsco electric heads (sea water intake) which seem to be doing the exact same thing.
They flush perfectly, but the clean water that is left in the bowl afterwards, seems to disappear slowly. If I close the intake valve once the bowl is full of water, the water remains, but if I open the intake it slowly drains out. Any ideas?
Thanks

The base of the toilets are level/above the water line...

Level yes, Above waterline? maybe not. How do I get around this? Up the toilet, or is there something I can do with the intake hose?

I would think you could put a loop in the intake hose to bring up past the water line

Re: Bowl Water Disappearing !

Are you wanting water to stay in the bowl like in a land toilet? On your boat? On the water? At sea? Am I confused?

Smell the dog's breath. If you detect brine shrimp, you have your answer.

Re: Bowl Water Disappearing !

Why do you want to keep water in the bowl? It only ends up all over the head in heavy seas? Why not just add with cup from the sink ahead of solids?
