Re: Commode tripping breaker

Even though there is a dedicated mercerator breaker button the fridge breaker trips. But the. Fridge stays on. Today I reset fridge breaker button and then pushed commode button and it flushed. Before resetting fridge breaker button it would NOT flush.

Re: Commode tripping breaker

Perhaps the wiring is switched at the breaker panel, i.e., fridge on head's breaker and vice versa.

If your buddy thought the wire was "a bit short", it probably is. Check the terminals for loosening/damage due to strain.

It sounds like you should trace the entire circuit to check for faults.

Re: Commode tripping breaker

After the toilet flushed the battery charger show a yellow blinking light for the center battery. This reduction in battery charg occurs after one or two flushes.

Re: Commode tripping breaker

Sorry for my ignorance but how do I trace the entire circuit?
I’m very new to this and not very mechanical.

Re: Commode tripping breaker

Welcome.

No info on your electrical issue.

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.
