Why don't you keep your opinions to yourself. I've got plenty of experience with electrical. I know electrical safety. Just new to this particular type of a/c. The unit is diagnosed. Improperly wired neutral to ground strip and faulty compressor, internal short to ground. But hey forums wouldn't be forums without people like you guys, plenty of opinions, no knowledge on the subject. 😂😂😂😂

So your telling me the neutral got rewired since he last used the A/C. That makes a lot of sense.

How do you know the compressor is faulty? Did you meg it?

Give him a break unless you plan to sail over there and troubleshoot it.
