Cruisair Blower 'Sticking'

at the beginning of the season we noticed our cruisair 2004 16,000 BTU reverse cycle air conditioner wasn't blowing. When I took off the vent hose and looked inside I could see the blades slowly turning. I reached inside and then manually started spinning it, after a moment the electric motor started spinning it at normal rates and is working.

Question, what and how should I try to fix this?

Thanks!

I'd try to lube both ends of the motor shaft where they poke through the bushing/bearing. I've got an exhaust fan in my garage that I need to lube a few times a year lest it get sticky and squeal.

Any good spray lube should work..
