Daewoo Mini - just add (hot?) water

Hi,

we have the Daewoo Mini washing machine and are very satisfied. Of course the biggest power draw is heating up the water for the washing.

Has anyone experimented with simply putting a kettle or two of boiling/hot water in before closing the door? Changing the plumbing so that we can connect the warm water from our boiler would be a bit of a hassle.

Re: Daewoo Mini - just add (hot?) water

Curious if you came up with a solution for your Mini. I have one in a box waiting to install so I haven’t fired it up yet. Currently waiting on the step up converter from ACUPWR (110v boat).

I haven’t opened the box yet or looked at the hookup for the water to see if it has one ore two connections. No idea if it heats the cold water or what but most of our clothes need to be washed in cold water anyway. I’m guessing hot water will do a better job on linens and towels?

Glad to hear you like the machine.
