Domestic Water Hose Size ?

I'm going to install a bypass kit on my water heater for winterazation. Yesterday I noted that I'll need some additional fittings to do the install and I'm not sure of the hose size. (The boat is 2 hours away.) The threaded side (on the water heater and the kit fittings) appears to be all 1/2" NPT. I think the hose (looks to be nylon reinforced clear potable water hose) is 1/2" hose as well, but I'm not sure. Is there a standard size hose that is usually used for the domestic water on boats?

Re: Domestic water hose size?

1/2" is the standard size for fresh water plumbing.
