Dometic ECD 16k strainer

All,

First boat with air conditioning for me and I believe this is missing a strainer cap as opposed to some random cap. It has a Dometic ECD 16k Retrofit AC on here, but I cannot find anything about the size of strainer that's missing from the boat. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this part? I'm prepping the boat for a land move and want to get this taken care of....for obvious reasons. Picture included.

Thanks!

The item next to the Smart Start II looks like a strainer without the cap on. Good luck

Sorry, I meant to ask if anyone knew what cap I needed, not the strainer itself. The cap has gone missing.

Re: Dometic ECD 16k strainer

Buy a whole new strainer. Get a good Groco one, rated at least 500 gal/hr. That one in your pic is crap, only good for filtering junk out of domestic water lines. Remember, the ac pump needs to be below the waterline - you really want to risk our boat on a cheap strainer?

Ps - that hose is completely unacceptable, too. It’s meant for domestic water as well. Go with HD water line from trident or similar, just like your engine intake should be. even the hose clamps are wrong - go with aba solid clamps.
