Electric Clutch failed on Ecotec Watermaker

It has a direct drive from the engine. I had to remove it, and when out back the clutch fails to engage. (I have checked there is power and earth.)

The clutch is an ogura ma-7a-gp


I am about to pull the whole thing apart to have a look. But any advice most welcome.

Put an ammeter in the line and see how much ,if any , current it draws !

Already done. Zero current. And checked earthing. Not a good sign.


Not sure how to get the clutch off the shaft. Removed screw that holds it in, but it is rock solid with no obvious place to pull.
