Engine-Driven Watermaker

my best option for a watermaker on my 38', 2 person sailboat is an engine driven type. i know echotec makes a model(s). are there competitive brands that should be checked out?
also, anyone know what pump manufacturer echotec uses?

I'm looking for the distributor of the belt driven pump so I can buy one and put the system together myself. Please let me know if anyone knows where I can find it.

www.catpumps.com this is what I used with our diy watermaker. I chose the 277, which has worked flawlessy. It makes 20 gph, while we are cruising from spot to spot . It is set to run while the engine is at 2k rpm or less
