This is serious business....
LOL... time to remove tongue from cheek.

Snail darters are fresh water fishies, this one has obviously adapted really well to salt water.

And MarkJ is just a few miles out of US jurisdiction.

Re: Fish Up My Hole !

Be careful how you phrase that! there is a fish named 'Slippery Dick" you know.

Slippery dick (Halichoeres bivittatus) is a species of ocean-dwelling fish in the family Labridae

Beg a mod to remove this thread (before there is any more exposure of damming evidence), sell the boat fast (ie cheap), hitch a lift home, keep a low profile (stay away from the internet) and you just might survive.

Other than that, I vote for the sardines on toast approach.

Re: Fish Up My Hole !

Mark you have been at sea too long when the first solution you can up with is greasing a hole. Get one of those small colanders with a handle on it and speed tape it over the hole as barrier to wild life and indecent behavior.

Pokemon?

If you have a thick short stick handy you could hop over the side and ream out the thru hull/sea cock.

Its most likely the growth inside the hole that's the problem, not the fish.

Do make sure its not this fish.

Re: Fish Up My Hole !

I didn't know she is an endagered species!

She'll be more endangered if she sticks her head outta my hole while I have the scraper close.

I couldn't hurt her (or him). I will just cuddle and fine somewhere else for her. Like up the Yanmar exhaust....

Careful playing with critters and exhausts.

I my young and crazy days, we once put a mouse we were playing catch with in a field down a John Deere tractor exhaust because it had the audacity to climb up my buddies jeans and bite oh so close to his er, manhood. Methinks it was to protest being the main object of the game.

When the tractor started, mouse became orbital material.

Fish in Yanmar exhaust? Gefillte fish maybe?
