Force 10 oven keeps going out

Our Beneteau 323 is equipped with a Beneteau branded Force 10 oven. There is no electronic thermostat on this model just a temperature gauge. The oven lights fine but goes out, usually after about 5 minutes but sometimes after just a minute or 2. It relights fine, then goes out again after a few minutes.

I couldn't find my exact issue when I checked the archives so any suggestions other than throwing the whole thing overboard would be appreciated.

Does it have a milivolt thermocouple? Small tubular fitting with a line back to the gas valve. It's what holds the gas valve on. Fairly common failure and easily replaceable.

yes, there is a tubular fitting back to the gas valve. Thanks for the tip

Speak sternly to it and emphasise that it is grounded and not allowed to go out until you say so.

Also, you can try cleaning the fixtures. I am pretty sure in the trouble shooting section of the manual it tells you how.

I did try cleaning the burner carefully, but it didn't seem to help. There is nothing obvious anyway.

So a cleaning of the thermocouple took care of the problem. I plan on buying a spare but they are not easy to find.
