Freezer compressor speeding up late in cycle

Well, first startup after all this fooling around was successful.



I was surprised to see 70 psi on the low and high sides with the compressor off, but it started up ok at that pressure, HP built to 225 while LP sat at 70 for 30 seconds thereafter, then dropped to 15psi quickly.



So-maybe we're good.

Guess I'll button it up and see if we still have a freezer when we get to the Caribbean. The fridge is working great anyway, so we shall not want for cold drinks in any case.

I would have thought the tech you brought in would have had a vacuum pump...

Anyway, sounds like it out to be good to go, at least until you can address it on this side of the pond, with input from Cleave.
