Freshwater system glitch

I just installed a new accumulator. Freshwater pressure pump now "Blips" for a fraction of a second every 10 seconds or so. This did not happen with the previous accumulator. Cannot find a leak yet.

Any thoughts out there.

You’ve got a leak you haven’t found yet. One common problem that causes pressure in the system to drop and trigger the pump is leaking valves in the pump. Water leaks back through the pump to the tank. You never see the leak.

I just changed out a fifteen year old freshwater pump with a new one. Afterward, I had a similar short pump on and off syndrome. I checked the system and found a small leak at the inlet to the accumulator. My advice is to check for leaks!
