Fridge Not Starting

Hi there, I have 2 X Danfoss BD35 units (1 Fridge, 1 Freezer) and I am having an intermittent issue with the fridge unit.

Every now and then (I've caught it twice in the last 2 months), it will cut out for around 5-10 minutes, refuse to restart then go back to running as normal. All the while, the freezer on the same circuit runs fine. The cut out still persists if I turn the freezer off. And it's not the normal cycling they tend to do when they suffer low voltage cut off. It's worth noting that the compressor is quite warm (too hot to keep hands on).

I suspect it's a thermal cut off so I think my next step is to attach a LED to see the fault code kicking out but was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this?
