Help! How to Free Stuck Seacocks ?

Great advice on the backing out with the nut...will attempt this weekend after purchasing some stay afloat!!....And thanks for the link to the Spartan maintenance link.
There is like a double nut there.....do I back them both out?..Nut on right side in picture.
....... sorry... tried my ass offf to include a photo here but the only option I get is to use the photo URL.... well, my photo is on my phone and has no URL... Won’t even copy and paste!!

You might like to compare Stay-Afloat with toilet wax gasket. It's the same stuff, with "marine" pricing.
