Nahhhh...I'm full of hot air, i would probably turn three shades of red, although the very idea appeals to me greatly.Lol

Check out a pet supply store and get one of those collapsible nylon tunnels, ya know,,the ones which have hoops in them every two or three feet to hold shape.
When you hang the tunnel from something high,,,it makes a great shower enclosure. and is very easy to stow.

Re: Help! This Girl Needs A Shower!

Did we all forget HS physics? Yes, you would have pressurized water with the insecticide pump but at what gpm? If goldiphlox is going to get the shampoo out of her hair, she will need both gpm and pressure. The higher you hoist your bag shower, the more pressure. You want 10 PSI, 20' up the mast should do the trick.

Since your a blond, I'll remind you a halyard is much easier than climbing up the mast. lol

Pump-up Solar Shower

This would work well if you have to space to store it, the bag showers are flat when empty and don't take much room.

Re: Help! This Girl Needs A Shower!

Check out the Zodi portable hot water shower system at Wal-Mart for around $87.00. It comes with a electric pump to maintain pressure ( runs off D cell ).
I have one and have used it for close to 5 years now with no problems other than replacing the D cells. I have changed some things around like instead of the included water container I use a bucket. I fill the bucket with 3 gallons and then heat to desired temp, turn off the propane heater and then just shower. I used to use the solar systems ,but they tend to get the water VERY hot. Found my showers take between 2 - 3 gallons. The Zodi system comes complete and worked as intended from the box.
I'm not connected with Zodi just a satisfied customer.

Re: Help! This Girl Needs A Shower!

1. Get warm water (from a solar shower, engine run heater, etc.),

2. Build a 360 degree cockpit canvas protection (not so much from the eyes as from the wind!),

3) Hang a small shower thingy over the canvass fed from a small electric pump controlled by a switch nearby (or else have someone pour the shower water over you).

Well OK then, you just might need an extra couple of gallons for that cockpit shower.

Nozzle? Shower head?

If you just walk in and demand 'the thingy for the thingy' ... eh... ;-)

Cheers,
