Re: Holding Tank Hose

Are you also running PVC to the through hull for discharge? If so, how do you ensure that it won't break somewhere below the water line? Hose is super tough and the only joint below the water line would be double hose clamped on.

Re: Holding Tank Hose

Just a follow up from my original post.

Well I pulled the plug and replaced the flexiable head hose with PVC, well most of it. I kept a short peice about 1 foot between the head and the PVC hose. This will alow pulling the joker valve easier. I also have a short peice of flex at the pump out fitting and vent line. I took several suggestions above and used the flex for vibration movement.

Attached is several photos that show the installation. I found out if you use a heat gun and take your time the rigid pvc can be softened to allow bending in sweeps and offsets as needed. I did have to use a cooupling on each line due to space in the cabinets. Best thing is that unmistakable faint odor is gone!

Hope this is the last time I have to deal with this issue and post an update in 10 years.
