Re: In tank UVC sanitizer. Does anyone make it?

In the United States, approximately 156,000 sets of drinking water equipment are provided to 90% of the US population. These figures clearly show that the elimination of pathogens is crucial, and the potential market for safe drinking water sterilization technology is huge. The main value of UV sterilization in water purification applications to ensure public health is due to the fact that biological pollutants do not produce UV resistance.

The advantages of UV sterilization include short radiation time, ease of use, and low maintenance and operating costs. It is environmentally friendly and does not change the taste and pH of the water.

UV light doesn't penetrate far into water. An in tank UV sanitizer would have to be very bright. A practical way would be an inline UV sanitizer and a circulation pump.
