In the "what the hell is this" catagory...

We've had our boat for over a year now, and still finding spare parts in the nooks and cranny's. This has me stumped. No mfg name, just a number stamped into the plate 2.27106Attachment 145111

Attachment 145112. Dr. Google is of no help. I'm guessing it's some kind of solenoid, but exactly WHAT kind, I don't know. Help?

Might it be an air bleed solenoid, perhaps for an electric toilet ??

looks like a central heating/refrigeration centrifugal, low flow pump, but could also be a solenoid shut off valve

A Vented Loop Solenoid Valve for an electric head.

Re: In the "what the hell is this" catagory...

When I sell our boat one day, I'm going to sprinkle around a few car parts, maybe a lawnmower carburetor or two. It has to be a tradition, seems all used boats come with strange spare parts.
In my case I had strange filters and a few other parts in the Yanmar cruising kit that I never did figure out where they could have gone, so I eventually tossed them.
Looked to be filter for a Rochester car carburetor.

I think this has been going on for years and years already. Every boat I've ever bought has come with a box of mystery parts, which I dutifully kept safe and presented to the next owner as important stuff that goes with the boat. Sometimes its just a few bags of "original" sails. Can't get rid of those...might need them one day. Goes with the boat.

It is a cocaine processor. You may want to look for more "stuff" hiding in the boat before your next trip!

For those with grey hair and love the tv series MASH, didn't they make the Padre a machine that looked just like this.
