Jabsco Par-Max 3.5 for feeding a High Pressure Pump

Setting up my DIY watermaker and am using a High Pressure Pump that requires/uses 2.2 gpm am I'm wondering if a Jabsco ParMax 3.5 would be good enough to supply what the pump needs.

I know that the spec sheet says it would deliver 3.5 gpm but that is open flow - does anybody know what the flow rate is when there is say 10 psi or 20 psi caused by pre-filters starting to clog up? I don't want to have to change filters so often because my 3.5 low pressure pump can't deliver enough water once the pre-filters have a little age on them.

Thanks.

The real problem is that it isn't met to run for that long.

In my experience, small diaphragm pumps don't last long when run continuously.
Pumps that did work for me were AG sprayer pumps. They're more heavy duty and often used in a continuous mode.
Also if you put a small accumulator tank after the pump, when it reaches pressure, it stops and gets a cooling cycle. And don't set the pressure any higher than needed.
A place I've bought several pumps, 12v and AC:
